Deep learning,
clear teaching.
Math Trajectory™ exists because teachers deserve more than disconnected worksheets and generic interventions. Every student has a concept gap — and every concept gap has a traceable root.
The problem we're solving
Most math instruction follows the same loop: Teach → Practice → Test. When students struggle, teachers are left guessing — is it this concept? A prerequisite? A gap from two grade levels ago?
The result is broad, slow intervention that treats every struggling student the same — "below grade level" — without telling teachers where the gap actually is or what to do about it tomorrow morning.
Our approach
We built the Math Trajectory Map™ — a fully-traced concept dependency graph from PreK through Grade 12. Every math concept is a node. Every prerequisite relationship is a traceable edge.
When a student struggles with ratios, the Map™ shows exactly which earlier concept is likely missing, and surfaces the worksheets that address it. Everything we publish — every worksheet, every diagnostic, every PD program — is anchored to a specific node. No random practice. No guessing. A precise, traceable path.
Who we serve
- K–12 classroom teachers who need targeted, standards-aligned resources they can use today
- Instructional coaches building team-wide intervention systems
- District curriculum leaders who need coherent, evidence-based supplemental tools
- Professional learning teams seeking PD grounded in real classroom application
"If teachers understand math concepts at a deep level, they can diagnose student misunderstandings faster, pivot instruction more effectively, and drive stronger student outcomes."

Founder · Math Trajectory™ · Cultivate Collective LLC
Dr. Jamie Zinck is a mathematics educator, curriculum strategist, and instructional leader whose career sits at the intersection of classroom practice and large-scale educational impact.
Her journey into education began in the classroom through Teach For America, where she taught high school Algebra I in a high-need school. In one year, she moved her students from a 12% pass rate to a 96% pass rate on the state End-of-Course exam — proof, from day one, that the right instructional approach transforms outcomes for every student.
That conviction carried into a career spanning some of the most recognized names in educational publishing. At Pearson North America she spent nearly eight years as a Mathematics Content Specialist and Education Consultant, collaborating with district leaders and classroom teachers across the country to implement fully digital curriculum — including work with the Los Angeles Unified School District. She developed and led bilingual professional development sessions, managed high-English-Learner and low-income school districts, and grew pilot classroom participation by 280%.
At Savvas Learning Company, she led a team of more than 60 professional service delivery members as Director of Professional Services, Intervention and Supplemental — overhauling professional learning services across three product lines and driving $4.2 million in incremental supplemental sales.
Most recently, as an Account Executive at Scholastic, she has built and sustained relationships with education, business, and nonprofit leaders across her territory, generating $1.7 million in annual incremental revenue by deeply understanding the specific needs of districts, classrooms, and communities.
"Most math programs give teachers content without a path. They hand over materials without a method. They identify that students are struggling without telling teachers precisely where the gap is — or what to do about it tomorrow morning."
Across every role — teacher, specialist, director, consultant — one reality kept surfacing. Math Trajectory™ is Dr. Zinck's answer to that pattern. Built on years of frontline classroom experience, large-scale curriculum implementation, and doctoral research in education policy, it is a fully-traced instructional system that connects every student's struggle to its root concept — and every teacher's next move to a precise, purposeful step forward.
Dr. Zinck is bilingual in English and Spanish and is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
